Is it weird to say I like poignancy? Particularly with music like yesterday was Monday and I found my self listening to 'kick Monday in the nut sack' by Watsky from his blue grass, hip-hop, folk rock multi genre album. And realising how poignant it was I had a little chuckle to myself, another example is when it's a beautiful day outside and I put my iPhone on shuffle and U2's 'Beautiful Day' comes on and as I walk down the hill with the sun blazing and the song up loud with a smirk on my face chuckling about the poignancy of the situation I realise I'm a rather simple human being, with really simple needs. It doesn't take much to make me laugh and I enjoy making others laugh with a whimsical tale or two.

I always think to myself how 'poignant' something is. I think it has something to do with the sound of the word...but also because I love thinking about depressing things :)
