The title of this opuss, has in my humble opinion, summed up what all social communities online have become a competition for.
Facebook, twitter and to some degree, opuss too.
The night before last, I dropped roughly about 100+ in rank, and simply because I didnt post anything. Even though I don't care about my rank, to other people who drop rank simply because they don't post nothing it must be somewhet discouraging and personally, I'd think it would make people hesitate NOT putting anything up at all.
Id enjoy opuss just that little bit more if it didn't feel like we were all in a competition for the top spot without even realising it.
I can only hope that this doesn't get people's blood boiling and rub people up the wrong way. I love opuss as much the next person, but just having the rank looming over my head can be a little daunting.
