I was on my knees
Breaking down
When you picked me up
And told me that I
Could do anything
As long as I tried
Painted the words on the wall
You told me
I was a miracle
You gave me hope
And you gave me strength
To carry on.

But now you've gone
And all I have
Are the words you left
The splattered paint
Spelling it out
Reminder
Of what you were
Gracing my walls
As I fracture
Falling to pieces, missing you
Grief and screaming
Like losing a limb
Losing an old friend
Someone missing
Not dead
But gone.
