Time To Get My Life Back

It's time to make the changes.
Get my life back into place.
I need to sort it out...
If I want to win this human race.
It's time to lose some weight.
Take up swimming again.
Get my health sorted out,
Get rid of all this pain.
I need to get a full time job,
Get my finances in order,
Do less partying than I am...
Be across that sensible border.
Time to be a adult.
Face up to these passing years.
Time to get my life in order,
Maybe then it'd stop these tears.

The brain is the body’s most resilient organ to change. It’s eerily complicated and impossibly intricate. That’s also why hopelessness can scare us more than anything.

Best of luck, great poem πŸ‘πŸ‘

I like the confidence and strength in this - go girl! ✌✌✌

@Stablish @naaviie why on earth are gyms sooo expensive? D:

Because no body actually goes!

Not an easy thing hun, but the rewards will be worth it rebecca. Boring adult kinda point of view, but I know...πŸ‘πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™

@naaviie to this one I would! I love swimming, and it has steam rooms and saunas and a gym you can use... Unfortunately I don't have Β£300 for the year membership... Maybe after Christmas. Or if I get a job, one months wage packet! Haha.

@leelee101 I just want the results... I just don't have the money to get the results 😞 working in a chip shop doesn't pay well. And these days you need experience in a field before they'll let you in. And I can get the experience in administration if they won't give me the chance. Swings and roundabouts. When will employers learn...

@Odd being grown up is overrated 😜 But I'm with you on the fitness thing, I've started swimming 50 lengths twice a week. My jeans feel a little loose! And yeah, gyms are a rip off. Costs £3.60 just to swim at the pool by me.

@Odd true... Good luck tho hunny πŸ‘πŸ’™

@Irrational_Kimmi my local pool is constantly full of children. That are either learning how to swim of like to splash people in the face. And because I'm really badly short sighted I always swim into them. Or very old hairy men. Neither are pleasant. Least at a gym theres no children... The hairy men I can't guarantee haha.
