It ate the darkness,
It killed the moon.
It scared away the vampires.
It bought about their doom.

It stopped the spider webs.
It made the werewolves run.
It ended the witches brewing.
It put a stop to the night fun.

It gave birth to the shadows.
It gifted to those who live.
It grew food to sustain them.
It let security be give.

It allowed city's to grow.
It meant humans could breed.
It gave life to those in darkness...
It gave them prey on which to feed.

(We nightdwellers may prefer night of day, but without day, unfortunately we wouldn't be here...)
