Warming A Cold Flake

And there I hung from this frozen star,
Dangling, watching from afar.
Cooling my feelings, becoming a flake,
No more of this watching I could take.
Climbing my rope to the icy sphere,
I wondered what laid beyond here.
Taking my chance I jumped from that place,
Bored of life, maybe... When risk laced...
I could live among those I watched.
Seize the chance, my heart yet to be notched.
Falling from that frozen world,
My cold flakiness becomes uncurled.
Landing warmly where the story unfolded.
Into your arms where I moulded.
