Hello my friends
I shall tell you now
Of a story about me
And not exactly how
I learned a great lesson
About friends and life
How to move past the pain
And forget all your strife
Friends become foes
As quick as one may eat pie
Here then gone
In the blink of an eye
So watch out for your back
So no stabbing can come
Forget your small worries
What is done is done
If people choose to hurt you
That's their problem not yours
As one friend's door shuts
So will open other doors
But don't lock them out
They may repent
Ask you for forgiveness
About the hard times you spent
Forgive those you trust
For they may be true
Don't leave them in the dark
Or they'll feel as bad as you
Treat others like you want
To be treated yourself
Don't sit all high and mighty
Like some doll on a shelf
Forget the past
That chooses to haunt
But instead live now
And go for a jaunt
