I needed an adventure,
Something new,
I shouldn't have spent the night with you.
I cannot stay,
I've gotta go.
You won't understand,
You don't know.
Cause I love him,
He's my best friend you see,
I just needed one night of release.
What do you do when the love still there,
But the lust has gone?
Is it OK to give up and run?
What if I feel a little sapped,
Like my energy's all gone,
& I'm trapped?

I'd love a fresh start somewhere new,
But I can't bring myself to leave you.
