Sea

The sunlight twinkles on the waves,
To the sun I am a slave.
I'll let it embrace me all day long,
Listening to the summer's sweet song.
The sand feels warm between my toes,
It feels so private,
Like nobody else knows.
I can hear the gentle tumbling of the sea,
I let it wash over my feet.
The warm salty breeze ripples through my hair,
It feels like no one else is there.
I walk until I'm submerged to waist height,
The warm sea caressing me so right.
For the sea I am a fan,
It makes me happy like no man can.

The Sparkling Courtyard

Bright tangerine sun sparkling like a diamond. Sitting by myself on an icy cold seat. Gentle, sweet wind. Hitting my little, pink face. Not a word was said for the longest time.

Poppy

Challenge set by@eddie12309. I saw this beautiful poppy. Bent down to see it close. I love the fragility of its petals. Almost see through like a ghost. The sweet smell of poppies.

Night Rain

Pattering on the window pane. Drumming fingers of the night. Rhythmic noise rains down. Tiny droplets play with light. Shimmering like tiny stars. Falling from the above sky.

Ecstasy

Out on the rock I spread my arms The sea and the world Beneath me Urged on by cliffs You said something But the wind Laughed too loud In my ears and playfully Hid my breath from me.

Looking Forward

Jump real high and touch a tree, dip a toe into the sea. Take a breath and look up high, have a swim, you'll soon be dry. Sun is shining gorgeously, solid earth is under me.
