Picture Perfect

(oops, missed the last challenge! Trying again on this one)

It's not big,
A grandfather clock,
It's not small,
A desk clock,
It's not on a chain,
A pocket clock,
It's not on a wall,
A mantel clock,
It's not electric,
An alarm clock,
It's not sunlit,
A sundial,
It's not musical,
A cuckoo clock,
It's not constantly ticking,
A pendulum clock,
It shows a time,
Yet never changes what it shows,
I wonder why it does this,
Why it never seems to age,
What is wrong with my clock?
Is it broken?
But upon closer inspection,
I see it for what it truly is.
My beautiful clock is simply a portrait.
How sad that is to know.

I love to write - though I rarely finish the story, constantly skipping to a different one half way through. Hopefully one day I'll make a story good enough to finish = )

my writings are webs, which are woven by fingers. they're meant to exist, so my memories linger. i'll talk about good and touch base with bad. talk of times my feet strayed from the path.

#household A jewellery box Without any locks Is not the place To keep your socks. Nor is it a place To keep a fox Or your grandfather clocks Or any amount Of igneous rocks.

Forgiveness

I am a single act of kind, I am free of heart and mind. I am a second chance, a gleam of hope. I am a hand, a length of rope. I am a friendship kept alive, I am the final chance to strive.

Find Me

Grains of corals And rock adrift, As seasons change In raging waves. Memories flow Tunefully with The gushing stream; Sharp yet agitating, Barely consoling, Rousing the weary soul.

Pegging

This is really late for #household peg day- appologies @nom. She pegged it on the kitty cat, she pegged it on the moon, she pegged it on her state of mind, she pegged it on a tune.
