A mental barrier to erect
Somebody has said hello!
About as far as I can go
My conscience speaks, I know it's right
Just relax, they do not bite
Ineptitude has left me shy
So damn tough to just say 'hi'
You know I've never been a prude
And though I may sometimes be crude
Excuse me, I'm not being rude
But I need a little interlude
These walls I try so hard to scale
Another epic social fail
And they will be my reckoning
Solitude is now beckoning...
