Captivity.

It reeks of despair.
Metal bars, thick and strong.
Holdfast, and don't break for long.

Outside the cage, freedom lies.
The prisoners captured long to die.

Let them free, the people cry.
We cannot sit and watch them die.

But you must, the captor roars.
They deserve to be hidden behind closed doors.

But the secrets out.
The bars will be bent.
They will escape.
He will pay.
He will not live to see a new day.

Flashing cameras.
On the news.
He must pay,
The leaders agree.
This can't go unnoticed.
Let the story be free.

Tell the world.
Of his dreadful crimes.
Make him pay.
He deserves to die.
