Balloon

I wrote my name upon the card,
Attached it to the string.
I added my number just in case somebody decided to ring.

I let go of my red balloon and added to my dreams,
I hoped it'd float a million miles,
And dance among the moonbeams.

I wanted a moonbear to find my card,
To add me to his list.
You see a moonbear's like a fairy but with a hidden twist.

Wishes he can grant but two,
And must be within his rules.
No love no money nothing for others just a random trip.

I'd visit the wonders of the world and be back in time for tea.
The second wish can only be a key to help a friend,
I'd magic up a simple thing to help him till the end.

So I let my balloon float freely on,
Hoping it flies high.
The moonbears see wishes few.
I hope he grants mine, and my friends too.
