Three little owls sat together in a tree,
They looked between one, the other and thee.
To, too and two they all said,
Through the night while turning their heads.
Two is a number, it's greater than one.
Only with two can you have so much fun.
Too can mean also, "Do owls sleep too?"
Too is excessive, "They sleep too much, like you!"
To is harder, it'll precede a noun,
"This owl poem is dire, I'm going to frown!"
To is infinitive, it'll precede a verb,
"I need to kick this poem, perhaps to the kerb."
Here is a summary before owls go to sleep,
Maybe this poem in your mind will keep.
Two, to, too-ey owls shuffle their feet,
A dance of words, their tale almost complete.
Two is easy, it comes after one.
Too is harder, say "too much fun."
To the most common, it swings to and fro,
Three little owls show you the way to go.
