It's Monday morning, Who'd have thought. That smiles are one, And sadness nought. The sun is shining, Blue skies aplenty. I'm 35, But feeling 20.
Oh no my rank has got worse. Who cares, I'm here for the verse.
What hope means Hope is bright shining light which keeps darkness at the bay, Hope is gentle cold breeze on a hot summer day.
Look in the mirror Hate what I see Ugly and jealous Looking at me. Hate that I hate What I see deep within When I should be content In my body and skin.
Listen to my words. Read them aloud. See them written on the page. See them written on a cloud. Words are of beauty. Of magic too. Words can change everything. But could also break you.
To make something beautiful,. To bring a tear in someone's eye,. To live a moment without regret,. To know the secret of how to fly,. To learn if I could feel right,.
Every face can tell it's story, Every name it tells it's tale. Every step can tell it's journey. Every success can show it's fail. Every feeling can be shown. Every word can be expressed.
My heart's a thing. I can't explain. When it embraces. Joy and pain. My heart is young. It catches fire. But keeps me safe. From harm's desire. My heart is old. But still so strong. Keeps me here.
