I'm closer to my demise

Bits of your soul
Withering away
Onto my heart
Every single day

Every tear you cry
The flame grows brighter
Choking me,
Until I can fight no longer

All scars that appear
Your soul blinds
Trapping me within you
Using ashen binds

A raging fire
Killing us two
Blanketing me
With ashes of you

Ashes of you
Sticking to me
I wear it on my heart
As plain as can be

Ashes of you
Shown through my soul
As you wither away
So does each of my goals

Ashes of you
Blinding my sight
No help to be brought
In the mischievous night

Ashes of you
Fall all around
As your soul flickers out
And you fall to the ground

Ashes of you
A big part of I
Now that you're gone
It's mine turn, to flicker out and die
