I opened the main door of my Flat this morning only to be faced with dark skies and a steady rainfall - bloody awful weather.I stood there for a moment trying to decide wether to take the pathway or the short cut across the grass - I decided on the grass ( lazy sod! ). As I looked skywards I could SEE the black clouds threatening an even worse downpour. I started across the grass and the wet leaves from the old elm tree TOUCHED my face. The rain run down my face and I could TASTE it as it ran over my lips. A dank, musky SMELL rose from the pavement and I could HEAR the rain running down the gutter toward the drains. I reached my car, smiled and thought, " You're a lucky man! "

@TheCodsPollocks : almost, I have nerve damage in my right foot from leaping around in wellies and shin deep mud the entire weekend. Surely that's a sign of a great festival? It was awesome, made some great friends and can't WAIT for next year! Xx
@eliza Hope the foot soon mends. I was over the IOW during one of the sixties festivals - that was wild! 😄🎵
