It's sunny here in Singapore. Too sunny for my liking. I love the rain; I embrace it. I'd even get wet in it! The weather has just been terrible for me.
On Facebook, I have lots of friends who complain about the unrelenting sun. The thing is though, they complained when it was raining too! The nincompoops.
Personally, I love the rain. I wish it would rain for most days with little for shine. I wish I was living in a house, with a room of my own and glass windows from ceiling to floor. Then, when the rain is heavy, I'd sit by the window admiring the rain pounding on it. The water flowing from top to bottom, sometimes rushed, and other times slowed by the constant pouring of rain. I'd make tea for myself, maybe an 'English Breakfast', 'Chamomile' or 'Grape'. Where once was a notepad that I'd scribble, doodle or write, it'd be my iPhone now, launching Opuss. Well, it saves paper. I'd like to think I did my bit for the environment.
Hence, I wish I was living in London, with that wonderful weather. I see weather references on internet posts, and I would always wish that I could relate to it by being there.
Though, I won't be complaining. In fact, I might just overstay my welcome.
One day…one day…
