I love going to the car boot every Sunday - not just for the bargains but for the banter also. Last week I was at a stall with a young lad to my right and a 'grumpy old man' type to my left. The stall holder was showing the lad some iPod docking stations - "How much?" asked the lad.
"The loose ones are Β£3 and the boxed ones are a fiver. Everything looks better in a box, doesn't it?"
As quick as a flash the grumpy old man blurted out "My wife would!"

@misslittleDHP I agree - its like free entertainment ! The one I go to is massive with market included and if I don't get any bargains I usually buy Β£10 of rib-eye steak! Mmmm! π΄π
