Thinking Of You...

I'm sitting here, my mind on you,
Staring aimlessly at a blank wall,
Thinking of how you tore my heart,
And carelessly watched me fall.

When I first met you, I loved you,
It was clearly love at first sight,
The way our lips locked perfectly,
And how you'd stay with me at night.

I remember our first date-the fun,
At that posh restaurant down in town,
You were dressed in an immaculate suit,
And there I was, in my midnight gown.

The way you held me round the waist,
Your warm heart cradling mine,
Your smile-the kindest of them all,
As you carried me off to dine.

But then one day you disappeared,
Suddenly you were gone,
Immediately, I was a nobody,
I hadn't felt like that in long.

Days went past, thinking of you,
Had you found another girl?
Was I no longer the special one;
The oyster to your pearl?

And then one day, I received a text,
"Honey I miss you..."
All the love came flooding back,
My heart was with his too.

But then, only minutes later,
My phone beeped once again,
"Erm... sorry...wrong person :L"
And then, returned the pain...
