My brother is in his 40s (somewhere)
He was married, giving his wife money to pay all the bills..........so he thought.
He divorced her, found a reprocessed house that he is in the middle of doing up
He has two sons that come around on the sponge, the sponge dried up long ago, so he doesn't see the boys now
He also spent £11.000 on a VW camper van, so he could spend time with his boys, he can't drive ?? It's been sat on the drive these past two years.
And when I go visit him all he talks about are women he chats too on the Internet
I do feel sorry for him, but I feel there is nothing I can do, I have told him to sell the VW and buy a Harley, at least then he is getting out and about and meeting people
It's sad really

@glen I work split shifts five days a week, he drinks like a fish, I don't drink at all, we have very little in common, I do try to pop over when I can
@TheViolator it's a shame mate ain't it, makes me want to give my bro a ring, in fact I will I haven't seen him in ages, good luck mate hope things work out😃
@glen I left home at 15.5 joined the Army and only came back to Plymouth about 14 years ago hardly knowing him after 27 years apart. It's not easy on either of us. Did you ring your bro ??
Feel for you😔 I'm the eldest of three & fortunately, I've got a close & wonderful relationship with my bro. Think adversity growing up made a difference, as I've always kinda been a bit of a 'mum' to him too, as well as a sister. Hope your bro's life turns around soon😌💜💚
@Fly10 you know my past history, so you know where I'm coming from, it an't easy, I do feel for him. Woody says "that due to our childhood we are both screwed in the head". But I came out of it a bit better, but my bro suffered more than I, cos I got out ASAP and join up, leaving him behind
