BEAUTIFUL LOVE CHAPTER 3

Chapter 3
At lunch I walked down to the benches alone and decided I wasn’t going to have any lunch. I pulled out a book and exactly five minutes later I was joined by Jason, I put my book away. The sun hit his face making him sparkle slightly.
“Don’t let me stop you reading” He said.
“It’s alright, it was getting kind of boring anyway” He laughed
“So it’s Friday… Do you want to go out with me tonight?” I was glad he was asking. A cute, sane, real, kind boy was asking me.
“Yeah, where?” I giggled out my answer.
“Let me sort that out. Just meet me at the gates” He was totally going to leave me.
“You’re not going to randomly make me wait there for ages are you? I mean this isn’t some kind of joke to make fun of me is it?” Maybe this guy wasn’t like other guys
“No. I would never do that”
“Good” I said.
“So… Why aren’t you having lunch?” He asked me. The truth was I didn’t like the way I looked. I mean I was skinny-ish, but I just didn’t like my look. I wasn’t going to tell Jason this, but I had to tell him something.
“Not hungry” I replied in a casual voice. I was starving!
“You have to eat” Nope… My stomach grumbled but not loud enough for him to hear… Yes. I needed a smart way out of this.
“Did you eat anything?” I giggled.
“No…” He sighed, realising I was going to win this one.
“Well then I’m not eating” He laughed
“Very smart” He said sarcastically. Yeah not eating will probably make me ill, but you know who cares? Him maybe? I hope so.
“Yep” I giggled. I really wanted him, to talk to me, to laugh with me, to just be there for me. Did I like him? …yes. Did he like me? … Ughh there is no point getting all depressed over this. Maybe he had a girlfriend! Then why did he want to spend time with me? Why me? He wouldn’t ask me to go out tonight if he didn’t like me. Would he?
“We have drama next, don’t we?” He asked. I was watching his lips move as he talked. Answer!
“Yeah” I nodded and averted my gaze so he wouldn’t see me.
“Good” A guy that likes drama? Wow first boy I’ve met that likes drama and I don’t mean the fighting outside school to impress the girls’ type of drama. All of the boys did that, you could hear them discussing it minutes before.
“You like drama?” I asked.
“Kinda of” I giggled
“Coolio” Oh my god! No way I just said that in text speak. Ughhh stupid me. He laughed and the bell rang. That was fast. Maybe it was just because Jason was here; there must be truth in the saying- time flies when you’re having fun.
“Let’s go” We walked inside and down the corridor. Once we were inside the classroom I looked at the board ‘The kiss scene’. Oh my god! Jason looked at me and smiled. Seriously? Was I missing the signs? No… He doesn’t like you!
“Partner up. One girl and one boy” Everyone grabbed a partner and sat down.
“Partners?” He asked and I nodded. Jason took my hand and pulled me to the chairs. I was freaking out, he had my hand in his!
“You have got some mind tricks” I laughed. This was a complete coincidence right? Gosh.
“Yup” Miss Korel, our teacher, handed out the scripts.
“You are all good enough to know about how to approach the kiss scene. So practise this and we will be recording it next lesson” Miss Korel said. Everyone started to practise.
“So… Let’s do this”
“Sure” I looked at the script, it wasn’t one I knew, but it was one I was going to like. We started the scene…
“You’re the most beautiful girl in the entire world and I would never, ever let you go”
“Thank you” He held my face in his hand.
“I love you. I know I haven’t been able to admit it before, but I really do love you”
“And I love you. I need you in my life forever” I looked at the script… kiss part!
“And always” His lips came closer to mine and I closed my eyes. I felt a slight peck on my lips and I opened my eyes again. Oh my gosh. It’s your turn to speak. Speak. Speak. Speak. It was a part in a play, speak!
“But this is forbidden” That was my line?
“I know, but I am prepared to go through anything. Anything for you” He looked like he was about to cry. Great acting skills.
“I will always love you, but I can’t do this” I hate my character, she doesn’t take this opportunity.
“We can run away together. I have some money saved. We can start over, live a whole new life”
“We will get caught” I have never felt so much hate for a fictional character.
“I’ll protect you. Please run away with me” He said softly, begging.
“Do you promise to stay with me forever?” I asked.
“I promise to love you and stay with you forever” I smiled and took his hands in mine.
“I love you” End scene. Oh my gosh… I love drama! This is the best lesson ever. I couldn’t speak.
“You’re a really good actor” Half of it wasn’t acting. I wasn’t going to admit that, I wasn’t even going out with him. Why? Gosh charlotte this is some school crush, stop thinking you love him, you’ve known him for… what? A few hours?
“Thank you. You are too” He smiled.
“Thanks”
“Do you want to do it again?” YES! Hell yes!
“Sure” We practised the scene three more times, meaning altogether I got four kisses. I was smiling by the time we had finished. Wasn’t this a little mean just to do drama to kiss him? No…
“Meet up with your partner and continue practising the scene” Said Miss Korel. Yay! It was now end of the day and I couldn’t wait to go out with Jason. Would he kiss me again tonight? Maybe. Please…
