Chapter 4
I stood patiently at the gates. It was hot so I took off my blazer and jumper before stuffing them into my bag. Jason walked over to me, thank god he didn’t leave me standing there. I would have looked like an idiot.
“Hey” He said, smiling. I had a warm, tingly feeling hit me.
“Hey” I replied, trying to act casual, but it didn’t work.
“Want to go?”
“Yeah” We started to walk out of the gates and he put his arm around me. I giggled.
“Emmm you don’t mind, do you?” He asked.
“I don’t mind” I giggled again. He liked me? I smiled. Jason walked me to the car park where he got out his car keys and opened his car. He had a shiny, black convertible. “Nice car”
“Thanks” He opened the passenger door and let me get in before he got in himself. The seats were shiny and new. My beautiful friend had a beautiful car. Friend? More like friend who is a potential boyfriend.
“Where are we going?” I asked.
“The beach” He replied. Seriously? On a Friday night, he was taking me to the beach?
“Seriously?”
“Yeah”
“Awesome”
“Wait… You’ll be allowed to go right?” He asked concerned. Cute. A boy that knew about curfews.
“Yeah. My mum is away on business for a few days, she wouldn’t know” Ooo rebel! That was strange.
“Good” He laughed.
“Thanks”
“You’re welcome”
He drove there as we talked about little things like birthdays or lessons. It turned out Jason loved drama too, he said he liked the script. As soon as we got there, Jason pulled me out and took me down to the beach front. His cute smile was teasing me. I wanted to kiss him… Ughhh get over it! My brain was shrieking. He pulled me down on the sand and half dragged me close to him.
“Can I do something? Don’t freak out” He whispered. Confused.
“Ok…” He leaned in slowly and kissed me, it wasn’t like the kiss in drama it was way better than that. I broke off in shock. He really did like me.
That’s not good, is it? Sorry I thought that-” He started.
“No. I liked that. You like me?” I asked
“Yes” Oh my god! That was the best answer I have ever gotten in my entire life. He liked me. I smiled.
“Good” I laughed
“Do you like me?” I couldn’t answer. Just do it. Say yes!
“Yes…”
“Well then…” He kissed me again.
“So we are like together now?” I asked
“If you want”
“Yes” He smiled and pulled me even closer to him. I giggled as he locked his arms around my body so that I couldn’t move. His hands rested on my stomach on top of mine. “Well I never expected this to happen”
“Neither did I, I just hoped” He said, I giggled. He lifted up his hand and started to play with my hair. I giggled
About an hour later, Jason suggested we go. We got up and walked towards his car before getting in and driving me home.
“You remembered where I lived?” I asked
“Yes, I couldn’t forget”
“Thanks again for yesterday and for today in fact” I said, smiling.
“You’re welcome” I kissed him softly and went inside…
