The Willow Tree

Bury me under a willow
A weeping willow tree
There'll be no need to grieve my love,
The tree will cry for me

Just give a thought to the good times we had in days gone by, fill your mind with happy thoughts, there's no need to sigh,
The tree will sigh for me

When your twilight years are here and memories are hard to save, come sig beside the tree that protects me in my grave, it's the tree that weeps for me

My darling when your sad day comes please come and lie with me,
Under the beautiful willow,
The weeping willow tree,
The the tree will weep for thee..

This was written by my dad in 1997 the day before he passed away

Remember Them

When the autumn leaves start falling. I know it's that time again. To make my way down to the memorial. Pay my respects and remember them. The fallen, the departed. Loved ones, dead but not gone.

RIP Grandad

Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain.

When I'm Gone

Read my name on stone, forever here i lay. Look up to the night sky, i'm never far away. If i don't wake up, do not shed a tear for me. Decisions define us all, but right here i'll always be.
