My father doesn't like you,

You took their daughter,
And broke her heart.
They never trusted you
From the start.
They saw you lead me
Down a trail of deceit,
They were there when you swept me
Off my feet.
They saw me fall
Hard for you.
And then watched you leave,
When we were through.
And now they see
That you had your fun
And then moved on,
It was a hit and run.
You left me behind
Broken and alone.
So my parents despise you,
Because they should've known.
