Part 2
Despite the warning Kit couldn't back down, wouldn't. She kicked hard. Her foot connected with his shin. To Jonathan's surprise he clutched his stomach. Fighting back the pain, willing himself to stay standing. While he struggled Kit took those precious moments to run into the living room flipping over the couch she tumbled to the floor, scanning the area. What could be used as a weapon? Escaping wasn't the answer. She had to fight back.
She grabbed a vase off the glass coffee table and snuck her way back into the kitchen. She hid behind the counter peeking around the corner to where Jonathan was, only he wasn't there. Uncontrollable panic took over. How could he have gotten away? She could have swore he was there a minute ago.
Kit felt it first. Jonathan had creeped up on her throwing her into the nearest wall, all in one swift movement. She hit and slumped to the floor in a daze. Her vision fuzzy. Something smashed her head. Its blurry pieces flew all around her. Darkness tinted vision quickly took over, she couldn't see but heard Jonathan whisper "You'll learn sister"before going completely unconscious.
