As David reassured himself that he would be able to survive all of this and defeat this ... This thing that he was facing, it dawned on him. Maybe, the ghouls and ghosts were connected to the house in some way or another, and that as the house got weaker the ghouls got weaker. It would certainly explain a lot, thought David.
As David smashed his flashlight against the weird guy's face, the person's eyes shined brighter, and he arched forwards into a sort of ball. He then let out a powerful burst that was pure energy and power. It threw David through the door and against the wall. It was then that David realised what was happening. And he didn't like it ...
As he picked himself up after whacking against the wall, he looked up. A number of black ghost like monsters were storming down into the room where the old 'man' was. Suddenly David heard a piercing scream. it was so loud, in fact, that his head began to pound, his ears began to burn, and it was a mission for David to keep consciousness. Then he was shocked. He felt, wet. In fact, he was being soaked. He glanced up and discovered that the roof of the kitchen area of the house was more or less all gone and that torrential rain was pouring into the flooding cellar. David let out a cry. He had to escape and fast.
But how? And with the cellar quickly being flooded by all the water, could he really expect to survive?...
