Paradise On Earth

Soft grass silenced my footfall as I ran dancing through the trees
Jade green leaves caressed my face and hair as I delightedly twirled by
Birds sang a striking song of high pitched notes that travel far and wide on the light winds
Flowers of vivid colours brighten up the world as they gleamed like jewels in the sun
A bubbling brook rushed by
It's glittering surface danced like fairies under the suns rays
It skipped and hopped over shining rocks singing a sweet tune as it gushed by
A stunning butterfly fluttered down onto a deep blue flower
It was painted crimson, ink black, and auburn, dashing to the eye

See

I can see a view so grand. Just a piece of this pleasant land. A field of green and waters still. Waders fishing with their bill. Insects buzzing round a tree. Seagulls swooping, wild and free.

Transcendent Pause

Let me whisper in your ear my dear of things that oft transpire when shadows long and toads do song and stars begin to fire. The space between the here and there when stillness does descend.

The Sparkling Courtyard

Bright tangerine sun sparkling like a diamond. Sitting by myself on an icy cold seat. Gentle, sweet wind. Hitting my little, pink face. Not a word was said for the longest time.

My Home

Listen carefully, Can you hear it. The wind blowing lazily through the trees, Calling out your name. The crickets and coquis chirping, Looking for someone to join their melodious song.

Nature Sensed

@Emma_33 #poem. I sat and watched. As a spider spun its web of beauty. The most wonderful sight. I'm ever likely to see. I laid and listened. As the thunder roared and the rain crashed down.
