- His Gentle Pull -
She lied.
She lied to me.
He's not a player. He's not what I've made him out to be.
He's the boy I know he is.
And now I am so happy.

Today, May 1st, 2012, I was walking out of the library, on the way to my first class.
He smiled at me, in that gentle, sweet way he always does.
"I need a book," he said, and Mary grabbed my arm and began pulling me.
(When Johnny is around, I tend to lose all feeling in my legs.)
He took my arm and gently pulled me back to where he was.
"Let's go, Em," Mary snapped, more at Johnny than at me.
"H-hang on a second," I stuttered.
He smiled at me again.
"I need a book on World War Two. Help me find one?"
"I have to get to class," I whispered.
He grinned at me. "Okay. See you later."
And guess what? Tomorrow, he has his gym again. I'm going to get to see him. I'll probably have another moment to write.
Everything is fine. She just lied to me, that's all.
My friend.
She lies a lot.
Especially about really important things.
It's quite annoying.
