Marcus is driving.
Through gallons of rain.
He feels that he's going
Quite slowly insane.
For all that he feels
Is anger and rage.
What damage is done
By the terrible teen-aged!
He hates evil girl
For all that she's done.
His family, for the blatant
Neglect of their son.
And himself! Why?
Because, dear, he fell,
In love with a girl.
A girl he could tell,
Every dumb thing,
That of he could think.
Even now Marcus knows
His cheeks are bright pink.
But what did it lead to?
What did it make?
It made his soul cry.
It made his heart ache.
Because of that GIRL!

The girl that wreaked havoc
With rumors and lies.
Marcus grips the wheel.
Trying so hard to breathe.
He wipes at his eyes
With a part of his sleeve.
He starts to drive past
A station of trains.
But then he sees something.
A girl in the rain.
But something is wrong.
He hears a faint humming.
The muffled roar of a train.
A train that is coming.
And now he knows.
He sees her on the track.
He flies from his car.
"Hey! Get back!"
His cries are drowned out,
By the wind's wail and whine.
The girl steps closer.
"Are you out of your mind?
Listen! Please listen!
Oh, listen to me!"
The girl hears, and turns.
