And things kept getting weirder with Jason.
I thought it was just a one time thing...but a few days after our conversation, I realized this could be solid.
After we'd finished our songs, I saw him crane his neck over the crowd of singers. When his gaze fell on me, I noticed with complete shock that a smile immediately lit up his features. I smiled back. "Hey," I said casually.
"Hey," he said back, raising his eyebrows.
Carrie noticed and grabbed my arm.
"...Em?" She whispered. "That...what was that?"
I chuckled. "Mmm. I dunno."
I opened the swinging door and there was Paul. Surprised, I smiled, and he asked me to walk him to his new art class, that he'd just switched into for the semester.
All thoughts of Jason were immediately pushed to the back of my head, as my deep feelings for Paul rushed back into my heart.
We finally got to the art-wing...and who could be there but Jason himself, looking down at his phone.
"Hey," Paul whispered. "He's outside my art room...I think he might be in my class."
"Jason?" I called. "You have art right now?"
He looked up, and smiled. "Yeah, I do. This is the first time I've ever taken art in my entire high school career."
"Huh!" I said. "Well, I'll see ya later, Paul."
And left, shaking my head.
"This would only happen to me."

Writing is my life. Forever. I want to be an author when I grow up. I write all the time. When I'm happy, sad, angry...it's an escape. Oh, and I love green hearts. I absolutely love them.
