Let's pretend we're young once more,
Race each other to the shore.
Bury our feet in the sand,
No need for a spade, just use your hand.
Let's think back to younger days,
Climbing trees in the summer haze.
Rolling around in the sweet smelling grass,
How slowly time used to pass.
Let's remember the clothes we used to wear,
Get out those photos I simply can't bear.
Sing all the songs we used to write,
Under the covers by torchlight.
Let's remember that we can still do all that,
A birthday's just a cake and a silly hat.
Let's prove that age is just a number,
And wake our inner child from its slumber.
