You see, no matter how many times you 'like' that post about 'only living once' or how much you tweet about homeless people, nothing is going to happen
Unless
You get on your thinking cap and ponder whether you can afford to leave your comfortable, self-centred life of phone hugging and depart out into the real world.
Try out new things, talk to that person on the bus next to you, help that old person with their shopping, treat strangers with the respect that they deserve - no less than anyone else. These little things...no matter how small make a difference, it will improve your outlook, your mood and you will learn to appreciate those special things in life - meeting new people, or just having a good old chat. These little things are what makes us human - no amount of facebook spamming or phone hugging will do that.
Without these moments, we are not human, just mere shadows of what we could be, like robots with no buzz to their life.
So next time that you help out a stranger or donate old belongings to charity, be proud of the difference that you have made and be aware that bit-by-bit, you are making this world a better place for everyone.

Too true. It sometimes seems that technology is making people almost fearful of real connections... I am often very chatty (but live in quite a parochial town!!) That can feel a bit lonely at times, but I still try to chat with people and brighten up their day if I can 😊 (although, they probably mostly think I'm bonkers!!😄😄)
