Why should, when there's sun 'n sea. I be lying here, under a colourless grey sheet. Staring up at flies on the ceiling. Unmoving, unseeing. While all around the ocean is seething.
Ready to take on the day. In my own special little way. Ready to embrace. The sometimes cold human race. Ready to finally say goodbye. Now I have the answer to why. Ready to lay flowers.
This time of year is the time I like the most. When the days start to get darker. When the mornings are frosty and dark. When the leaves fall. When the rain pours for days on end.
Crashing tides against still rocks. Washing machines full of odd white socks. Broken dreams of a once hope filled child. Spoken screams of one usually so mild.
