Ok here it goes. As I said before there have been a LOT of incredible entries, but suppose that serves me right for picking walls as a word should have gone with ladle (my sons choice!)
I am going to cheat because it was hard to decide and I can.
Special mention to the best piece on walls, but not entered was @Munford with Jack,Joyce 'n All thenFours
A special BLUE award goes to @glen for 50 Shades of a Grey Spider and it's hairy cup. Priceless.
Third place jointly goes to @naaviie with an enchanting take on a classic tale "Ice Princess" beautifully descriptive @AWriterGirl turbulent love of The Walls, great pace and structure
Second, yes joint place, is @MrsS with emotionally touching The Walls That Dad Built and @Platypus with Funny Thing Is... Because the funny thing is I think many can relate to it
And without further ado....... The clear winner was........... with a tale of loneliness, sacrifice and isolation wrapped up in one giant metaphor.......
@Jamtots with The Girl in the Glass Cage
It's over to you.....
Thank goodness that's over, I'm off out for some dinner. Leaving my wee baby for the first time.
