I thought I'd write a poem
One for every day
That way my loves
You'll know my feelings in each and every way

From Sunday through to Monday
I'll have a thought to share
Without you both it's a life I couldn't bear

You are my world my being my reason for life
How can two miracles create so much trouble and strife

So tomorrow I'll start and leave them in a book
When your both grown up you'll be able to take a look

I hope you'll reflect, laugh and cry
When you read verses of fun, travel, love and why oh why

These poems I hope you'll one day share
With children of your own with love and care
