~The Gathering#3~. ~Part 3~

There were many conversations flowing. Anecdotes and observations of life and the latest theories on evolution. The tones of interest and amusement creating a symphony of understanding and rapport. A collection of social misfits and intellectuals, worked the room, slowly being drawn to one man.
His name was Lazlo Füst , Hungarian born, but raised in Paris. The only son of an artist and his muse. Although she still found his show for his appreciative audience amusing, she could feel the strange electricity that surrounded him. The magnetic pull unnerved her cool facade. He was do engrossed in his recital that he didn't notice her now eager eyes upon him.
" The moon is full, her circle complete, as the sprawling metropolis..." he continued.
He was taller than she imagined, dressed in a peculiar velvet and sateen collared coat and a crimson neckerchief. But it was his jewel coloured eyes that struck her. They seemed to change and dance in the light, from green to black, enchanting as the aria played out in the background.
It was at that moment, he seemed to stare at her through the clouds of smoke, while continuing his conversation. His fine hands animated and gesturing his every word, while all the while holding her gaze. He seemed to penetrate deep within her mind, encapsulating every detail held therein. It was then that he silently mouthed her name "Mária".
