Underground

Build bridges
Burn them down
Drive us all
Underground
We had a voice
But now...It's gone
Silenced
In the
Breaking dawn
Greed
Tore us apart
Feeding on
Our beating hearts
Took away
our morals
Took away
Our homes
Took away
Our green space
No where left
To roam
Freedom of speech
taken away
Only underground
We have our say
We put up a fight
But demand won
We will never see
The setting sun

Amazing! First poem I've read about an underground!πŸ‘

@221BBakerSt its not actually about an underground. It's about demand ruining our environment and our protests being ignored. πŸ‘
