Wet your whistle Wednesday is worthy of a mention,
It's all downhill to the weekend and so it's my intention
To raise a glass to Wednesday and merrily send it off
While I refill my glass of Pinot, a cool, refreshing quaff.
I'd salute it with a cider, I'd congratulate it with beer,
I'd send it Bon Voyage with cava and say Sláinte!!!,
Because Thirsty Thursday's nearly here!
