Little did we know, Kyle was at home. Weeping into his pillow.

"Maybe he's sick?" I suggested. "True,True." rose agreed. My day was actually quite boring without Kyle. Rose and I sort of floated through the day. It was really weird.
"Hey rose, do you have Kyles number?" I wondered. "Nah sorry. Why?" she replied.
"Oh, I just thought we could maybe call him. Oh well." I shrugged.
We walked out of the school gates, "Bye!" we smiled and we hugged each other. I waved at Rose and started walking towards car park 2, where my mum was waiting.

"How was you day Hun?" my mum greeted me. "Fine," I began, "But Kyle wasn't there...I don't have his number to ring him." I sighed. "You could try his home phone?" she suggested. "Great idea!" I exclaimed excitedly. "Thanks! One problem....", "What's that??"
"I don't have his home phone..." I sighed.

"Oh you." she laughed, "Use the school directory."
"Oh!! Right..." I giggled.
"Thanks mum" I smiled.

We got home and I walked into the lounge room and dumped my bag on the ground. I had a quick drink from the kitchen and grabbed the phone, then I rummaged around in the drawers for the school directory.

"Kyle.... Summers... S-s-s, Su! Su-sumons, nope. Summerta... Hmn must of missed it." I looked up and down the book. Three above Summerta, was summers. "Hmmn... 98015379"

I walked to my room and dialed the number.
*bring bring...bring bring...bring bring..."my heart started pumping and my hands were sweating.. I heard a sniff, and someone cleared their throat. "Hello?" they asked. Their voice was deep, either kyles brother or dad. "Hi, um.. Is Kyle there?" I asked politely.
"Er.. Hang on a second."

I heard muffled voices.
"Kyle, It's a girl for you!"
The person shouted.
"okay I'm coming.", that's it! That was kyles voice (':

"Hello?"
"Hi Kyle! :3 how are you? Are you okay? " I wondered. "Oh it's you.." I heard him sniff, as if he'd been crying... No it couldn't be, he must be sick or something.
"Kyle are you sick?
silence
"K..Kyle?" I was getting really worried.
"I can't talk right now!! sorry!"
"can I call you later??!?" I half yell.
"NO!"
And with that, He hung up on me.
