Who am I kidding?!
These will probably be some of the worst days of my life... Knowing SOME people.
I started walking down my street, it was about a twenty minute walk and then I had to catch a bus and walk another 5-10 minutes. Tiring and annoying. But oh well.
I put my headphones in and listened to some music. Music calmed me, it just had a way of kinda transporting myself to another land- a land that was care free.
"I made it, just in time!" I sighed relived as the bus pulled up. I hopped on the bus- swiped my card and took a seat. I was still kinda tired so I closed my eyes and took a 'power nap'. Before I knew it I was at my stop. "Thank you" I tried to say politely to the bus driver. He sort of just gave me a grunt and tipped his hat. I jumped down the steps and onto the street. It was more busy, compared to my street. I liked walking past different people, making up their back ground. It was quite a fun way to pass the time whilst walking.
Relieved yet terrified I sighed when I saw the giant metal gates, the giant metal gates that enclosed the school. Like a bird in a cage.
I walked in, with a mixture of fear and excitement. Because soon I would be at a new school and I could leave some memories behind.
Ding ding ding
The warning bell sounded.
10 minutes till homeroom starts. I walked up to my locker and opened it, I put my bag in and got my books out for the first two classes. "Oh no..." I groaned. "Double maths, dang." I sighed. "Tough luck huh man." Matt agreed. Matt was one of the few people I trusted now, he had always been there for me. "I'm gonna miss you man" I confessed.
"What?" He laughed.
"We need to talk" I tell him as I close my locker.
"Talk about what?" he asks, squinting his eyes.
"I'm moving... Next Monday...." I say regretting the part that I'll be leaving him.
"Oh." he breathes, shocked. "For real?" he wondered. I nod my head, not wanting him to hear any emotion that might squeak out of my voice.
"Can you really not stand it here?" he persists.
"Seriously, you're great to me and I'm very thankful.
But I know the others dislike me and I hate this environment. I need a change, you know something to 'Spice it up'" I sigh. "Oh I see man" he understands.
Ding dong ding dong
"Time for homeroom"we say together. We walk back to our lockers quickly and get our books for math out.
I turn to my right, I see Jason laughing mischievously. He was staring at me and Matt.
My stomach sank. "Oh. My. Gosh. No. No. No."
I gasp. "What? What's wrong?"Matt asks worriedly. "It's Jason... What if he heard our whole conversation?!" I am terrified.
"Tsk Tsk Tsk Kyle!" he waggled his finger at me and runs off up to Dan, still laughing hysterically like he has just struck gold. *
