"I can't believe you'd do that, Hayley."
"Disgraceful." Mum interjected.
Dad ignored her.
"Really, Hayley? Really?!"
"So young." Mum whispered.
"I don't see a problem." I declared. "It's legal, isn't it?"
Mum sighed. Dad's brow furrowed with restrained rage. His mouth worked, but no sound came out.
"Really?" he exclaimed again. "You and that...sleazebag!"
"He is not a sleazebag!" I shouted, and more calmly: "It was a mutual decision."
"I DON'T CARE!" Dad exploded. "You're only 16!"
"Legal."
Mum sighed again, shook her head in disappointment.
I lost control.
I threw my bag down, its contents spilling onto the floor.
"What's done is done!"
I stormed out.

@hoofprints what has happened here is what I'm asking, I'd guess but I'm scared my guess is gonna be far off in left field.
@MrReaper777 well it's really up the reader's interpretation, but I wrote it to be, she's had sex and her parents have found out, and they aren't happy :)
I had a feeling. Considering that she emphasizes that sixteen is legal for 'something' the reader is given the idea that it's something big the fact that the parent were worried that it was with someone they did not enjoy adds to the suspicion that it was sex that occurred here. I just didn't want to sound like a pervert and immediately guess it was sex before getting some more sufficient evidence.
