Sometimes I wonder If I I've done enough to be remembered by.
To leave foot prints in the sand as the sea water kisses the sky.
Do you follow my ways and take large faithful strides.
Feel pure and cleansed by the lapping of tides.
Stand facing the waves I am unsure and this is the shore.
Breathing in salty air asking If I should have done more.
Listening to the soothing tones of waves crashing on land.
Are any of you stood behind me or walking through the sand.
Have I done enough to leave imprints on your hearts?
Stood at the end of land where open water starts.
I am stood proud at the shore, this is where I feel most free.
I whisper to the wind, have I done enough for you to follow me.
The breeze whispered back "Turn round and see who's there."
Even though I fear the truth alone, I turn round and have a stare.
The suns beams shine's through the clouds as they clear.
Have the ones I held closed remembered to follow me here?
