I am a pilot.
I have flown helicopters all my life.
Today was no different for me,
I took part, like all, in life's lottery.
I am a crane driver.
I have arrived on time, for years, never late,
But today? Today I bought my lottery ticket called Fate.
I am a passer-by.
I am nobody, and everybody the same.
Someone told me life is a lottery.
I can't remember their name,
But I think it begun with a G.
I am a driver.
I drive a mini.
Someone screamed my car was on fire,
And he let me cheat the lottery.
I am a train driver.
We are passengers.
I am a construction worker.
We are all builders.
I am a checkout girl,
We are all shoppers,
And we are all the commuters you see,
Who entered and won today's sad lottery.
I am a writer.
I think, I consider, I compose.
I too believe that
Life is for living,
Because you never, never do know.
