Did you ever see a house
So much like a zoo?
A heffalump in the mirror
And a whale in the loo.
A dragon in the bedroom;
Not as scary as it looks.
With its coffee and it's bad breath,
It's iPhone and it's books.
A stranger collection of animals
A person has never seen.
And those are just a taster,
There are others that have been.
For this ole house is open
To those who can plainly see,
That days should start much later;
That mornings shouldn't be.
So if you ever worry
About this or about that.
Whether it be unplucked eyebrows
Or thighs that are getting fat.
Come on over here
We'll warmly welcome you.
To this, our beautifully chaotic,
Imaginary zoo.
