Look out of the window today
Some snow has come my way
But it really weren't much
A light dusting as such
Not what the weathermen say
They seem to be clinging on
Telling me it'll snow before long
What I hate the most
When they move the goalposts
Why not just say you were wrong?
You seem to taking a guess
Why not try some honestness
We haven't a clue
When the snow'll reach you
We just do not know, we confess
As temperatures continue to fall
Is it 'too cold to snow' after all?
I furrow my brow
Surely any time now
The county will come to a crawl
But for now I'll watch the sky
And complain as it passes us by
The truth, don't you know
I really really want snow
So come on Mother Nature, please try...
