Because it's been so mild
He's sleeping off the winter
Somewhere in the wild
He showed up for a while
All blue and frosty heart
To dazzle with his coolness
And impress with icy art
Then he disappeared
As if he didn't care
Wintertime had visited
But he seemed unaware
Maybe come new year
When the temperatures are down
This spindly icicle maker
Will spread his magic over town
Until then I'll be waiting
For Jack to show his face
To put winter back to normal
With frost all over the place...
