Hey you, where've you been
Quite a while since I've seen
Your face around my neighbourhood
Give me a call, if you would
It's ages since that winter walk
When we had our final talk
About the future, cares and hopes
I'm feeling up against the ropes
I'd like to call you up and tell
You that I hope you're feeling well
But I'm left, to my disgust
With bitterness and mistrust
Empty, hollowness and doubt
I've nothing now, I'm left without
This is what I'd say, but, vexed
I've had to put it in a text
Because since leaving me alone
You won't pick up your phone...
