I wasn't looking for somewhere to WRITE
It had been the longest time
Since I put pen to paper
And wrote a song, let alone a RHYME
But trawling through the app store
In amongst the 'featured' part
It seemed to speak directly
To my dormant writers HEART
It was a little PAW print
The logo for a place
Where poems prose and stories
Put a SMILE upon my face
I thought sure, why not?
For I used to write a bit
Back when I was in the band
(But there was no chance of a hit)
I started off with silliness
The occasional POST or two
But I was bitten by the bug
And my love for writing grew
INSPIRED everyday
By the Opuss COMMUNITY
FUN loving and SUPPORTIVE
A virtual family
Look how far we've come
How was anyone to know?
Only time will tell
Just how far we all can go
I suppose at the beginning
I'd have said it's for the birds
But a few months on, I suffer
If I can't read your Beautiful Words
Right, I'm off to write
For as long as time allows
Here's hoping that my iThing
Give off a few meows...!
