Kind

If you'd be so kind
I'd like to read your mind
Are you maybe just like me
Seeking out some poetry
To read, and then go on to be
Waxing philosophically
I'd like to be beside
Things you keep inside
Places that you may have seen
People that you've never been
I'd like to feel it all
Please mentally enthral
Thrill me with a tale of joy
Be you girl or be you boy
I'll sit there, studying
Every little thing
A brilliant quote that you once said
The awesomeness inside your head
It'd be quite cool
To dip into your mental pool
Sounds and colours in the air
Here there and everywhere
Would you be so inclined
To see what's left behind
After being oh so kind
To let me read your mind

art.

Sadness, often felt, rarely spoken - like a friend whose name you do not say when you speak because they know you are talking to them, and everyone else knows who you are talking about.

My Fear

My greatest fear is not what you thought. It's not being chased down and caught. It's not heights. Or wolf bites. It's not spiders, snakes or bugs. It's not something hiding under your rugs.

A peal of laughter. Pierces the air, Shattering the silence, Without a care. Silence is golden Hanging above, As quiet as a mouse, As peaceful as a dove.
